On April 23, 24, and 25, 2026, thirty students from the Lycée Français de Barcelone represented the MUN club at BIMUN ESADE, the international Model United Nations conference organised each year by the ESADE business school.
This 10th edition, particularly symbolic, brought together more than 600 delegates from around the world to debate major issues in contemporary diplomacy and geopolitics.
For LFB, this was its fifth participation in a conference that has become a key event on the MUN calendar.
Our students were assigned to 12 different committees, including the very prestigious Security Council and Historical Security Council, alongside delegates from all corners of the globe.
Over the course of three days, participants had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of International Relations by taking on the roles of UN delegates facing complex global crises, tasked with finding concrete solutions to the challenges diplomats encounter today.
Public speaking, argumentation, negotiation, and teamwork were at the heart of these intense days.
This wonderful diplomatic experience was made possible thanks to the dedication of the MUN club’s supervising teachers: Hélène Thiercy, Vanessa Fardoux, Lionel Marino, and Sébastien Malagnoux, who prepared and supported the students throughout the experience.
This conference marks the conclusion of the 2025–2026 MUN year for LFB. See you next school year for a new season of debates and parliamentary procedures!
